Satu’li Canteen a quick service restaurant in Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Satu’li Canteen serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The story of the Satu’li Canteen is that it was once the main mess hall and now it has been redesigned into a museum like dining room by the new owners, a touring company.
The interior will have Na’vi decorations hanging from the ceilings and the walls. It will also be adorned with hand woven tapestries and natural elements of Pandora.
How to Get There
Enter Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Go and stay to your left. You will pass the viewing animal area and the giant anteater. Then you will see the Island Mercantile. Make a left at the FP+ (FastPass+) kiosk once you pass Island Mercantile. You should see Pizzafari to your right as you turn. Then you will see Tiffins and the Nomad Lounge. You will go over a bridge and Pandora – The World of Avatar. At the first right, make a right and you will be right there. This is about a 10-15 minute walk from the main park entrance.
One of the coolest features about this new dining experience called “fast-casual”. This restaurant will be the first to offer Mobile Order, a new convenient option to order and pay for meals on-the-go within the My Disney Experience app, allowing guests to bypass the queue to order when they arrive at the restaurant. Isn’t that amazing? Using the My Disney Experience app, you can select menu items, customize their order and pre-pay for your meal. When you arrive at the Satu’li Canteen, you just tap the “I’m here” button in the app, which will notify the kitchen to prepare the meal. When your meal is ready, you will be notified through the app to pick up your meal at a designated window. Additional fast-casual and quick-service restaurants will begin to offer Mobile Order later this year. This is very exciting!
Disney Dining Plan is accepted at Satu’li Canteen but, at this time, Mobile Order only accepts credit cards.
The Satu’li Canteen has unique dishes that are colorful and creative that will transport you to Pandora. The meals will be a healthier options than what Disney currently offers at the parks.
